about Jared's plans

Jared's success as a runner does not come from only luck nor pure grit alone. He has been blessed with outstanding coaches who have helped him improve as a runner by providing him with training methods which bring out his potential. Jared's trust and dedication to the process allows him to excel at the highest levels in the sport. Having been a student of the process for many years, Jared is excited to share his training wisdom with you.

Every plan Jared created is based on the training plans he uses to prepare for his races. Each plan is adapted to meet the need of runners at every level, so elite runners can train like Jared and beginner runners can benefit from the same processes but at their level of ability. Great care and thought went into the adaption of the plans so they give you maximum benefit while protecting you from injury.

Jared's training philosophy is to have patterned workout run days and easy days so you can show up to each run motivated and prepared to succeed. The plans come with optional cross training and strength training recommendations to supplement your running. In addition, Jared believes in only running six days a week to provide for a day or rest and recovery—physically, mentally, and spiritually.

As a member of Team Endure Strong, you'll have access to over 100 training plans. Each training plan is paired against your goal time and will auto-populate with targeted paces zones for you to hit during your runs. The plans are easily loaded into your Final Surge calendar making it simple to plan, track, and adjust your training schedule.

Jared has race specific training plans for the 5k, 10k, half marathon, and marathon distances. Each race specific plan is available in four categories: beginner, intermediate, advanced, and elite. Within each of those four categories, three options are available to choose from based on mileage. Every plan is offered in varying time lengths to give you greater flexibility to make it fit into your plans.

Jared also created base training plans to help you build base level running fitness in preparation for an upcoming training cycle and plans to help you maintain your base level fitness between races. Lastly, Jared has also created training plan to help new runners learn to run. These plans help anyone go from walking to running.
